is to be a leading foods company in Africa providing high quality and affordable products in the most
convenient ways to consumers through world class brands like Golden Penny Flour, Golden Penny
Semovita, Goldenvita, Golden Pasta and Golden Noodles.
Our other business focus areas include a developing agro allied business producing sugar, rice and
palm products; fertilizers to facilitate agricultural development in Nigeria, cement production to help
develop Nigeria’s infrastructure, and a number of support businesses providing packaging, transport
and logistics services.
In order to deliver our global vision, there are many people carrying out roles across Flour Mills Group,
which are completed with broadly the same aims and responsibilities e.g. People in production have the
same responsibility to produce safe and quality products that customers want to buy; irrespective of the
specific product being produced. As a result, roles within the company have been structured into 3 Job
Families. These Job Families have been further categorized into Disciplines which are similar occupations
within a job family. Outlined below are the Job families and their various disciplines;
Corporate Services Job Family
Role-holders in this job Family provide information, administrative and other specialist support across the
organization. At junior levels, role-holders supply information or other administrative support in the form
which is available to them, whist higher roles, present, analyze and interpret information or apply
knowledge of a specialist, technical or professional in nature. Outlined below are the various disciplines
under Corporate Services job family;

AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN
THE JOB
- Install, maintain and inspect control system and workstation installations throughout the whole plant.
- Implement hardware and software upgrades as necessary for improved process control.
- Provide troubleshooting and maintenance support for all assigned automated system.
- Work with team members on assigned tasks/projects.
- Address any concerns operators would encounter, either in normal work hours or through an on-call rotation.
- Communicate status, manage expectations, resolve issue and ensure top-quality job.
THE PERSON MUST:
- Be a problem solver.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have good interpersonal skills.
QUALIFICATION
- 5 ‘O’ level credits including Mathematics and English in not more than 2 sittings.
- Ordinary National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years cognate experience.
- Solid understanding of Ethernet communication, actuator sensor interface system is an added advantage.
Compliance Officer
THE JOB
- Review operations to identify compliance risks; and ensure compliance with relevant legal and internal policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance database to ensure compliance with captured compliance.
- Liaise with compliance owners to track changes in regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate awareness training on code of conduct and other compliance policies.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory obligations.
- Assist in conducting compliance risk assessment as input to audit plan.
THE PERSON MUST
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
- Have sound numerate skills.
- Have excellent presentation skills
QUALIFICATION
- First Degree in Accounting, Law or any other related discipline
- 5 O-Levels credits including Mathematics and English
- International Certification in Corporate Compliance is an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Compliance role in a Manufacturing company or FMCG
Area Sales Manager, Fertilizer- Agro Allied, North
THE JOB
•Responsible for marketing specific products and agronomic services to clients such as fertilizer, chemicals and/or seeds.
•Provide agronomic product support and advice to wholesale and retail customers.
•Responsible for sales activities in conjunction with the Agro Allied team to ensure customer satisfaction and improved sales of Agro Inputs.
•Develop and implement Regional agronomic marketing plans to support organization plans and budget.
•Facilitate sales expansion within assigned area.
•Act as the company image and manage contractual relationships.
THE PERSON MUST
•Show evidence of a strong coaching and mentoring capability.
•Be capable of delivering value through people.
•Speak Hausa language fluently.
•Responsible for marketing specific products and agronomic services to clients such as fertilizer, chemicals and/or seeds.
